Even before I got my own tattoos, I have always been fascinated by tattooed women who can carry it as confidently as men can.
I grew up in an environment where tattoos and piercings were normal. My mom was an artist and had a tattoo, my uncle was in a band, so naturally, I grew up with tattooed people. When I was finally making a life of my own, I learned that not everybody appreciates and accepts them. There are still people who asks me silly questions when they see my tattoos, some still judge and some just gives you that look.
Learning that there is still an existing stigma on tattooed women, I have grown to admire the ladies who chose to not to conform. One of them is Hannah Snowdown, who is not only tattooed, but is also a tattoo artist! AND she's only 22!
I came across Hannah Snowdown when I was online stalking my crush, Oli Sykes (Bring Me The Horizon). At that time, I knew Oli Sykes girlfriend was another pretty lady named, Amanda Hendrick, it was just during my stalking that I found out that they have long broken up and that he was now engaged to tattoo artist, Hannah Snowdown. What was once considered defying the norm is now considered art and fashion. As I have read in one article, tattooed ladies were once carnival freaks, now they're cool hipster chicks. Just look at Hannah, she's an artist, a fashion icon and indeed a cool being!
