On The Go Get Up

December 12, 2015

Working in events and commuting or simply being on the go has taught me to dress up fast, simple & comfortably. Jeans, shorts, shirts & tanks were my closet staples. Now that I formally work for an Advertising & Events company, not only do I need to be comfortable in my clothes, I also need to look decent & presentable.  That meant I had to change my closet staples.

I'm not fond of getting all dolled up and ma-porma, so you could just imagine how much of a challenge it was for me to change my usual shirt & jeans look.

Luckily, my job does not require me to completely ditch my lazy commuter fashion, because I'd still need those work clothes for outside events and stuff.  But on days where I am required to be both on the go & presentable, what do I wear?

I wear my favorite buttondown + leggings + kicks combi! This get-up kind of gives me the illusion na formal ako because of the collar and the fact that I wore leggings instead of jeans and at the same time, casual with my comfy favorite kicks that helps me move about easily.

  1. I totally get you! Dressing up for formal events or occasions that call for it will have me preparing clothes the night before. I've always loved my jeans/shorts, sneakers and whatever-top-I-grab on me!

  2. I'm always a jeans girl through and through. If I find a good pair of jeans, I will use it with any top! So happy your work allows you to wear somewhat casual!

Oh, and as a short-haired gal, let me just say...Awesome hair!
