Tommy John's Fight Against Testicular Cancer

Some of you might have the wide eyed look right now and asking why am I writing about TESTICULAR Cancer when I can't even have it? Okay, let me say one thing that is based from a personal experience --- Cancer does not only affect the one who has it, sometimes it affects the family or the people surround him/her more.

When my mom lost the battle to (ovarian) cancer 3 years ago, I told myself that if there is an opportunity for me to fight it off or to make people aware of it, I would help.  When Tommy John asked if I could help out with their cause, I said yes without any hesitations.

You know how men tend to put things off when it comes to their health? Tommy John thought the best way to reach them is through the women they love --- and that would be US! Cancer affects everyone around the person who has it. It may not be possible for us women to have testicular cancer, but we all have our fathers, brothers, boyfriends and husbands who are at the risk of having it.
