Super Show 8: Infinite Time | Super Junior Live in Manila
February 12, 2020 • Concerts, Events, Super Junior, Super Show 8
Yep, you got that right! This Tita went to the Super Show 8 last December 15 at the MOA Arena and man --- I JUST HAVE TO SAY THIS --- IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE!
I have been fangirling over them for the past 5 months and I it has been the best destressing activity I have done in my life. The TITA ELF (SuJu's Fandom Name) in me is jumping with joy!
As much as I want to write about this wonderful experience, I no longer have the words. It's been two months since the concert and I still have not gotten over the feeling of elation.
AND -- since I just put up my Youtube Channel (YAY!) I uploaded there the different videos/fancams I took during the concert.
Watch away! --- and subscribe while you're at it! :)
LANY Live In Manila
May 21, 2018 • Events, Lany, Music
I knowwwwwwww that this is a super late post, but I just have to. I mean, my blog is named "tick tock, its locked" after all. Hihi.
So yeah, I went to the Lany Live In Manila Concert (Day 1) with (and sponsored) by the soul sister, Gab (who btw, is an Event, Props and Set Stylist -- shameless plug -- check her page)
It was the first time in a very long time that I went to a concert. It's been more than 6 years since I last went to one, so I was very excited. Plus, how can you not be excited to see Paul Klein in person? <3 But first, lemme share le OOTD that day

Favorite part of the show --- Paul singing Hericane and crying while singing "And I love you still, i always will..." |
Sadly, I only caught the last few second of Paul going all emo. This moment just made me love him even more. Huhu! Dua, why you do this to Paul?
Were you there too? What was your favorite part of the show?
Also, you might want to check this article from RoundUp.PH --- something Paul did right after the show!
Red-Handed Kid: Keep Our Internals Safe EP Launch
February 13, 2018 • Events, Music, Red Handed Kid
Looking at my blog, you probably won't think that I am into this type of music. For those of you who don't know (which is probably most of you), I actually came from a "family of musicians". Not the traditional, classical type of music, but that type of music that most people will call "noise". Believe it or not, I listened to Black Sabbath (and Madonna's True Blue album) first before I ever learned how to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Trivia: This video was (mostly) shot in our old house which was also a gig spot from late 90's to the early 00's. Back then, they called our place "Killah John's" which was a slang version of the answer to a common question asked back then in the scene --- "Saan and tugtog? KILA JOHN" --- John being my Uncle.
See what I mean? ANYWAY, this isn't about me or my childhood music preferences.
(WARNING: STAGE ATE AHEAD!)
Red-Handed Kid is a 4-piece band from Marikina City. Last February 10, they launched their EP "Keep Our Internals Safe" with five (5) tracks: I Wish I Played Less, Reminiscing, Down To Our Veins, Black Hole Days & Close Me In.

My little princess and the sister manned the merch and entrance! <3 |
I won't attempt to give this a review since we all know it'll probably biased :P BUT, I do encourage you to listen to them and support them and all other local bands :)
To listen or to get a copy of their EP and merch, you can message them via their Facebook Page.

“Little Lights” is a story about being born
with a lack of light. More importantly, it shows what happens when we, as
individuals and as a community, discover what it means to be empowered by our
