As you all may have notice, I am not a keen fan of experimenting with colors.  I am more of the stick to the basics type when it comes to colors.  I'd get a dark top and pair with with a light bottom and vice versa.  This time, I had the guts to mix a bit of color just because small details still kind of matched.  Not really a risky outfit, but it's a start.

Koizora (Sky of Love) is a love story between main characters, Hiro & Mika.  A typical teenage/highschool love story where boy meets girl, boy courts girl, girl falls for boy (vice versa) and the whole whirlwind of romance and heartbreaks begin.  Typical? Not really.  The story line might be over used and predictable, however there are aspects of the movie that just showed the reality that there is today with teenagers or maybe even life, in general.

I rarely do outfit posts because I ain't no fashion blogger, but when I do, it's something I kinda wore the first time.

If you're actually a friend of mine, you'd know that I have issues with being addicted to something for a period of time and then just forgetting like I was never addicted to it.

Like that time I got addicted to stars and all my clothes and bags had that design.  Or, that time I was addicted to dresses and bought loads of them, though I never really wore them. I even had this addiction for Kim Beom (Boys Over Flowers Character) and all my wallpapers were of him.

I can be addicted to just about anything or anyone. It usually lasts for about a week or a month and during that time, I'd literally go gaga over it --- meaning time and money spent.

This month, my (temporary) addiction is focused on Joseph Marco :) Yes. Him. That dude singing his own rendition of a 1D song, when I actually don't like listening to 1D. Haha! :D Told you it could be ANYTHING or ANYONE. Literally.

It just had to be a topless photo. Haha!

I'm not much of a fan of watching pinoy movies in the big screen (not that I don't support it, but I think most of you will agree that most good and quality pinoy movies are not the ones played in large cinemas), but for this (and Daniel P) I made an exception. :P

If you actually know me, you're probably saying "WTH is Alex doing there?" Yup.  I actually got a few messages asking why was I there after a few instagram posts. :P  Anyway, I was there because I was invited by friends (Tee & Kumiko) whom I haven't seen in a very long time and happened to have extra VIP tickets. :D

After months of not touching my hair, I was able to get the natural texture of my hair back.  The downside is that my hair has about 2-3 shades of color which I did not intentionally put in there.  I have semi-blonde streaks, that fading blonde color when your hair comes from a red dye and dark brown which is my natural hair color.

My Friday morning ritual consists of opening my laptop, launching my outlook email and then checking my facebook news feed as my inbox receives all the emails I'll have to read before the weekend starts.  I came across something that really caught my attention and commenting to it wasn't enough for me.  So, I decided to blog about it.

I am no big time or famous blogger, but every entry I do, I try to make sure I've researched all my facts.  If I'm not so sure, I try and put it in a manner that says I am not confirming the detail, but simply sharing or maybe even asking.

So, moving back to the reason for this entry:

Last Sunday, July 29, I had lunch with the boyfriend's family for Uncle Fer's birthday and 40 days.  It was a small gathering with GREAT food.  How did I dress? Of course, I wasn't my usual rugged self :P



After the lunch, the boyfriend asked me to join them at the Emperador Football Stadium to watch his cousin's championship game.  So... yeah, I didn't dress right for the occasion :P But nevertheless, I went with them because I was excited to watch a live soccer game for the first time.  :)

It has been a verrrryyyyy long time since I've been to large gigs like this and I have to say that I missed it! A LOT! Big thanks to my friend, Rory, for inviting me to come with her to the UP Fair Roots 2014 last Thursday, February 13.

It has always been my frustration to wear maxi skirts and my Mom always told me that it would be hard to pull off as a girl who stands 5 foot 1 :/ But, what the hell, right? All you need is confidence! HAHA!

The first Monday of 2014 didn't work out well as planned. :| I still woke up late and naturally was late again for work. BOOHOO, Alex. :( Anyway, I wouldn't want to blog about being late on the first working day of my 2014, right?

So, during my cab ride to work with the brother, I scanned on my facebook feed to find something sensible to blog about.  Suddenly the taxi driver called my attention and told me to look at his taxi meter. He said "Ma'am nagalaw ko po yung metro bumilis masyado yung patak, bawasan niyo na lang po ah".  I was still a bit sleepy so i just said "OK".  A minute after, I realized how honest and good this driver is.  It was so ironic because last month, I hated a very very rude taxi driver (I even submitted a report about that taxi driver on www.taxikick.com) for refusing to board me and my brother and today, I meet this one in a million type of cab driver. :)

I just moved in here. :) I hope ya'll can bear with the bare layout as i'm still in the process of designing this whole thing :)

I'll be starting my "serious" blogging here. I will still be focusing on personal entries, but will also include other stuff from now on. I'm no writer so don't expect much. -_-
